Monetizing your blog

A very important part for bloggers is this part of monetizing your blog. This is the reason why many people start blogging. Of course most of them think that making money from blogging it's easy and this is why most of them are failing.

To start monetizing your blog I think you must have either a good pagerank (PR5 or higher) or a high number of daily visitors(800-1000+), rss subscribers and so on. When you have a high page rank you can sell links on your site(through Text Link Ads for example) and when you have high number of visitors you can sell advertising easily. It would be better if you can find private buyers and you can offer them discounts if they buy one spot for more than one month. This is how you start long relationships with other people and this can only bring you benefits.

You can also sell reviews on your blog through PayPerPost or ReviewMe. I prefer more PayPerPost not only because a customer can easily order a review through the "payperpost" button but you can also set the price for the review which on ReviewMe is set automatically and sometimes can be higher than the real price.

Another way of monetizing your blog can be using Google Adsense. In my opinion adding Google Adsense on your blog especially when you are at the begining (with the blog) it is a bad thing because you don't make too much money and your visitors will run away. Of course you can add a small Adsense banner but not to overdoing it.
